  I incorporated technology in the process of this project by using In-design which i couldn't have done anything without it. It practically made the whole project. An Instagram account to spread the word on the magazine, my phone also taking pictures of anything important that may go along with this project. Lastly blogger to show the work and the process of how I have excelled to make and produce the magazine. In blogger you can also see the progress i have made throughout the project.

  My production skills have increased greatly throughout the process in my opinion because in the beginning i knew how to do next to nothing for this project. I made my first submission in word because i didn't know how to use In-design or Photoshop but now I somewhat know how to use In-design and Photoshop, the quality of the magazine has increased greatly from when i first started. I now know some skills that i probably never would have known unless i took this class. This class has taught me some life skills that i will use frequently throughout my life.

   The magazines I researched engaged their audiences by having great articles and having interesting pictures and some info about upcoming events in sports history that will intrigue you. The use of words was fantastic which really get me into the magazine. I also thought learning more about the people who play the game is interesting which I did see in the magazines. Some ways the magazine might be distributed for the most part will be on the shelves of gas station or stores, but also adds for the website the magazine will be on.For example television, radio, etc.

  I researched all kinds of sports magazines to get some of the ideas for my magazine as well as having a first person look at some magazines that I have at my house. I noticed some magazines just have a whole picture with no border for the table of contents, which I tried myself. For the fonts, I just honestly went what looked best with the magazine I didn't go off of any other magazine. The photo shoots had everything to do with football and for color I added some shapes in the table of contents to make it look different and better. I used all of these conventions because I thought they looked great with each other and the third quarter submission turned out really well.   The social groups that would be represented are anyone that likes sports, so it could be from age 7 to age 90, anyone who likes sports in general with most likely like the magazine.The gender would be either boy or girl, any race or nationality and it doesn't matter if your wealthy or poor.

Old :Very plain and not much to it New:A big upgrade from the old one, this one has a better look with color.

<--OLD. The old was was rushed and wasn't very bad because i didn't put very much time into it and i didn't really know what to do. ^ NEW The new one was much better because i had time to do it and i had help to fix it. I also made it in a program where your supposed to make something like that. Last time i made it in word, which isn't made for that.

 Our plan for distributing our product was to show it on one of the biggest social media cites, Instagram. Hopefully people will see our account and share it to other people if they have an interest or if they know someone who might like it.

 Today in class we utilized Adobe In Design to lay out our 2 page spread , my experience using the software  was alright, I was a little overwhelmed because i'm not the brightest with technology and I also have never used Adobe In Design. I think I will use Adobe In Design in my third quarter submission because i used Microsoft Word to make everything and it would just look better in general if I did it in Adobe In Design, and I would also get the most amount of point if I use Adobe In Design.

Our target audiences are similar because we both are supporting basketball and the majority of our audiences most likely like basketball. They marketed their product by getting a serious shot of a player dribbling the ball. Some persuasive techniques that were used are having a good contrast of colors and having a clear picture. This form of media was a magazine. I would use social Media to market my product.

The target audience would be the same because its all about sports and football is one of the main sports in our magazine. They marketed their product by putting a picture of a football player on the front cover. Some techniques that were used are getting an action shot of the player and using big letters. The target audience for my magazine would be people who enjoy playing or watching any sports, the age might be somewhere between 15-60, then income level for people to see my magazines are people that can afford a phone because i would also have a website. The education level would be anyone and everyone, and your personal interests would be sports. My product will be appealing to my audience because you will be informed about the upcoming news of sports.

Based on the feedback I received from my teacher going over my mid term submission with me, I have to make a lot of revisions before I submit my final. Some revisions I have to do are redoing the cover page because i made it on office word and it doesn't look good at all. I also have to redo my table of contents because its very plain with one picture and a white background, I want took at least have a colored background and a quality looking picture with the font looking good. Lastly i want to fix up my article, because  its just a bunch of words on a blank canvas with a couple of pictures. Basically i want to make everything look better.

I will photograph some of the sports teams practicing.I will also photograph some of the athletes in uniform. The time the photo shoots will be scheduled will be after school when the sports teams are practicing.

I will interview students at SHS that are on a sports team. Some questions i might ask would be, do you enjoy playing the sport, what do you do in the off season, do you think you will keep playing football, how has football affected your life and does football get in the way with school?  His responses were Yes,because its something to do after hard day of school. He does weight training in the off season of football. He said I will most likely play football the next year a through high school. He thinks football has instilled more discipline into my everyday life and it has kept me on the top of my grades and lastly he said sometimes, but i just have to work through it.
